Para mi familia africana.
Desde hace unos meses he tenido la suerte de conocer a un grupo de personas de distinta cultura que la mía. Al principio, pensé que seria muy fácil entenderme con ellos porque son personas que desde el primer momento te dan todo lo que tienen, pues son personas muy hospitalarias y generosas.
Esa confianza me hizo cometer algún error al olvidarme que sus creencias no son las mías y que las mías no son mejores que las suyas y el resultado ha sido que ellos han tenido su mente más abierta hacia mi que yo hacia ellos.
Reconocido mi error, intento aprender de ellos todo lo que me es posible y ellos me quieren ensañar que lo hacen con todo el gusto del mundo.
Me han dado mucho cariño, amistad, comprensión, apoyo y me hacen sentirme muy feliz en su compañía.
Espero y deseo que el próximo año, como dicen ellos, sea el año afortunado en el que se cumplan todos sus sueños y les llegue una vida más justa y más fácil y que todos, hasta yo seamos muy felices por su suerte.
Para mis queridos amigos, Sarah, Kate, Lola, Loveth, Rita, Kinsley, Tony, Sonny, Bebeto, John y mi pequeño Joel al que le debo una grandísima parte de mi felicidad y que se lo agradeceré toda mi vida.
For some months I have had the luck to know to a group of people of different culture that mine.
